TERMS OF SERVICE
The scripturealone.net website and the custom Discord bots operated by Fully Awakened Ministries for the Scripture Alone community

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Services. For how we handle your personal data — and for the shared scope of these documents — see our Privacy Policy.
1. Definitions and acceptance
"Services" means our website, our custom Discord bots, and Scripture Alone Radio.
You accept these Terms by giving an affirmative acknowledgement ("I agree to the Terms") where we ask for one — for example, a checkbox before a form is submitted, or a bot acceptance command or button. For ordinary browsing of the website or listening to the radio, these Terms apply as notice to the extent enforceable without a separate agreement; we do not claim that passively viewing a page or hearing the stream forms a contract, though provisions such as the content license, disclaimers, and liability limits apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
Where a feature involves sensitive personal data, your privacy consent is collected separately from Terms acceptance: a form presents a distinct "I agree to the Terms" control and a distinct "I explicitly consent to the processing of the sensitive data described" control, and neither substitutes for the other.
Eligibility. You must meet Discord's minimum age (13, or higher where required). If you are under the age of legal capacity where you live, you may use the Services and submit forms only with a parent's or guardian's permission, and where a binding agreement is required a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Third-party purchases and services (PayPal, Spreadshop, Discord, audio sources) are governed by their terms.
2. The Services
The Services are provided by Fully Awakened Ministries for this community, free of charge and "as is." We may add, change, suspend, or remove any part of the Services at any time, and we do not promise any level of uptime or availability. The Services may go offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, or this community's rules.
- Exploit, overload, spam, or otherwise interfere with the Services or host infrastructure.
- Harass others, evade moderation (including ban or mute evasion), or post prohibited content.
- Abuse the virtual economy or games (e.g. exploiting bugs to generate currency).
- Attempt to make the Services retrieve, generate, or distribute illegal content.
We may restrict or revoke your access — up to moderation action in the server — for violations.
4. Moderation and enforcement
Several bots exist to enforce community rules; their actions (mutes, restrictions, warnings, bans, content removal, logging, and automated image moderation) are an intended part of the Services. Decisions are made by staff, with the bots as tools; automated actions are subject to human review and appeal (Privacy Policy §6). Records are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Music, radio, and third-party content
The audio bots and Scripture Alone Radio stream audio from third-party sources. You must not request, and we do not authorize, any use that infringes copyright. We are working to ensure programming is limited to material that is public domain or properly licensed for streaming/public performance; "freely available" online audio is not, by itself, a license. We do not host, own, or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for its availability, accuracy, or legality; and nothing in these Terms shifts to you responsibility for content we ourselves choose to broadcast.
6. Donations
Donations through our PayPal link are voluntary and are processed by PayPal under its own terms. Donations will be refunded on request within 48 hours of the donation; after that, donations are non-refundable except where required by law. A donation does not purchase goods or services. We make no representation about tax-deductibility except as our actual IRS status supports, and we provide donation receipts and any state-required solicitation disclosures on request.
7. Merchandise
Merchandise is sold and fulfilled by a third-party Spreadshop store. Orders, payment, shipping, and returns are handled by that provider under its terms, not ours.
8. Your content and license
You retain ownership of the content you submit (messages, images, form answers, ticket content). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as necessary to operate, secure, and moderate the Services. You represent that you have the rights to the material you submit. We claim no ownership of your religious testimony, personal writing, or private ticket content.
9. Intellectual property
Catherine's custom components are the property of their author(s); the underlying open-source bot frameworks and any third-party add-ons remain the property of their respective authors under their own licenses. These Terms grant you no ownership of the Services or their software.
10. Virtual items
In-server currency, points, badges, or game items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for anything of value, and may be reset, adjusted, or removed at any time.
11. Disclaimers and no warranty
The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that stored data will be preserved. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under mandatory law, including any non-waivable statutory data-protection or consumer rights.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fully Awakened Ministries and its operators, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Services. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, and non-waivable statutory rights. The Services are a free community offering.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or the community rules. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (data-retention practices, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and your content license to the extent needed to operate records) continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection or data-protection law provides otherwise.
